Upper dentures
| Implants can also be used to stabilize
complete upper dentures, both with and without palatal coverage. To do
away with palatal coverage, 4 implants are required: 2 in the eye-tooth
areas and 2 in the second bicuspid-first molar regions.
Patients with heavily resorbed anterior maxillary
ridges may benefit from 1 or 2 implants in the incisor area along with
cuspid-area implants. |
