Providing retention for denturist's clients
 |
 |
Osseointegrated implants can help people dissatisfied with their lower dentures. |
 |
Implants can increase retention enough to make lowers secure even if there are no ridges at all, and the retention increase can often be made with people’s existing dentures, by modifying them to accept retentive studs. |
|
 |
We accept referrals for implant surgery from
denturists who want to improve lower denture stability for their clients. |
 |
We insert implants, uncover them 2 months later
if embedded, connect the appropriate retentive studs and have them return
to the referring denturists for prosthetics. |
 |
Referring practitioners can then either
provide new dentures to the implant recipients or modify their
existing dentures to fit the implant studs. |
We
offer referring practitioners
 |
A successful track record:
97% of implants we have inserted have osseointegrated |
 |
Satisfied patients who have had stress-free,
painless surgery and quick, painless recoveries |
 |
An emphasis on convenience which allows
people to book appointments in a timely fashion and to have all, or most
of their implants inserted in one visit to the Centre, with shorter visits
as necessary to remove sutures, uncover embedded implants and evaluate
healing |
 |
Assurance that the people
referred will return to the referring practitioner for whatever
denture modifications or new dentures they require |
 |
Reassurance to patients that lower denture
problems occur, not because of inadequate efforts, skill or knowledge on
the part of denture providers, but because getting enough retention to
satisfy wearers without implants is often an impossible task |
